Dr Christian Kalwiba is a highly skilled obstetrician and gynaecologist who graduated with his medical degree in the Democratic Republic of the Congo. Afterwards, in 2011, he relocated to South Africa to pursue his passion for medicine. After completing his medical internship at Pietermaritzburg Complex Hospital in KwaZulu-Natal, he was appointed medical officer in the obstetrics and gynaecology department for four years at Ladysmith Hospital. In 2022, Dr Kalwiba completed specialist training in his field at the University of Cape Town. The same year, he received his Fellowship in minimal access surgery at the World Laparoscopy Hospital in India.

As a compassionate and experienced clinician, Dr Kalwiba firmly believes that evidence-based medicine is what the patient truly deserves. Dr Kalwiba delivers comprehensive medical care and ensures his patients are well-informed about their medical conditions. He is particularly interested in gynaecology and promotes a natural, vaginal birth.

Dr Kalwiba is happily married with three children. When he isn't caring for his patients, he enjoys spending quality time with his family, engaging in sports and reading.
